Tijuana Flats places a great deal of emphasis on creating programs that help its franchisees give back to their local communities while at the same time helping drive business. Taco ‘bout a win-win!

“Doing good fuels our fire” is more than just a catch phrase at Tijuana Flats. It’s the brands philosophy and mission as it looks to mobilize franchisees, their employees and customers alike to support their communities and build connections through education, awareness, contributions, volunteerism and inclusion for all.

Tijuana Flats’ Just In Queso Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people in their time of need. Flats thrives on doing good in the very communities that they serve through financial contributions, volunteerism and making an impact with organizations that spearhead positive change in the world.

Two new programs that are exciting are the Street Team Ambassador Program and the Just in Queso fundraiser to support local food banks.

Introducing the New Street Team Ambassador Program

The Street Team Ambassador Program is an exciting new Tijuana Flats program. It is made up of elite team members who have one goal in mind – to drive sales through community engagement and relationship building.

Each Flats location has selected a Street Team Ambassador to represent their local store out in the community.  The Street Team Ambassador makes weekly visits to surrounding businesses, schools, and offices to build brand awareness, highlight current promotions and drop off freebies that leave people smiling, creating a positive brand image and keeping Tijuana Flats top of mind.

Fight Against Hunger

Food insecurity in America is a pressing issue that affects millions of people who lack consistent access to enough food to maintain an active, healthy life. Despite being one of the wealthiest nations globally, food insecurity remains a significant problem in the United States.

In partnership with Tijuana Flats, the Just in Queso Foundation is raising funds for local food banks in all markets in which Flats does business.

Beginning October 9th, a tasty collaboration with local food banks began. It will run through November 15th. All funds raised at each location stay in the local community, supporting their local food bank.

Local food banks play a vital role in addressing hunger and food insecurity in our local communities. They are a lifeline to those in need. By supporting local food banks, Tijuana Flats, its franchisees and customers contribute to the well-being of their neighbors and strengthen the social fabric of the communities they serve.

Franchise Cool Causes

With bold flavors and colorful experiences piled high with big-hearted, over-the-top service, Tijuana Flats boasts a menu consisting of fresh, made-to-order tacos, burritos, and other Tex-Mex appetizers, entrées, and desserts.
